Video Game Design: GameMaker Studio 2 In-Person
Join us in the Exploration HUB and learn the basics of 2D video game design. We will be using GameMaker Studio 2, a video game development software, to design a 2D game and learn programming fundamentals using their drag and drop feature. Drag and drop is a visual programming experience where blocks of code are arranged to form game logic in an intuitive way. This class is a great first venture into video game design where you do not need any previous computer programming experience.
This class is for patrons ages 13 and older who have a valid library card. You will use this library card to log onto a computer during class. If you are not sure if your card is still valid, please call the Information Desk 760-602-2038 to confirm.
All classes are free, and equipment and materials are provided by the library at no charge.
Please be courteous to your fellow library patrons and arrive on time for class.
