Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop (4 of 4)

Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop (4 of 4) In-Person

If you've ever wanted to know how to use Photoshop, this course is for you. No prerequisites are needed to attend. It is truly for beginners. This class topic is not Photoshop Elements. All you need is the desire to learn how to use this very powerful program. We'll start with demonstrating the basic concepts of a pixel-based program and describe Photoshop's tools and features. Then move onto creating original art, manipulating photos and combining multiple elements to create something new and exciting. The course consists of four classes taught on consecutive Thursday evenings. The instruction is progressive; please attend all four classes. A simple home assignment will be offered for those who wish to practice on their own. You'll be encouraged to bring back your art to class the following week. Subjects will include: • Layers & Masks • How to make your photos really shine • Creating original art • Fixing old or damaged photos • Detailed selection and manipulation techniques

Note: Class size limited to six. Sign up for the first class on March 6, 2018 and you will be registered for all four classes.
